Use distillers yeast for strong alcohols and spirits

However, yeast used for distilling stronger alcohols should ideally remain at around 25 degrees Celsius. Once this instant yeast is blended into the mixture or mash, then the fermentation process that follows can quickly and efficiently turn all fermentable sugars in the mixture into alcohol. You will now need to allow the mixture to rest for a few days until the yeast does its job. You might also need to go in for secondary fermentation to fine-tune your fermented alcohol or provide additional strength to your desired alcohol.

Distillers turbo yeast can also be stored for up to a year if it is kept in cool conditions. It is also essential to keep an eye on the temperature once the yeast is mixed into the mixture since too much heat can kill the active yeast and halt the fermentation. Once you use hardy yeast with good alcohol tolerance levels then your alcohol production efficiency will surely improve as you will be able to convert a higher amount of mash into strong alcohol. Micro-nutrient infused yeast will also help in fermenting weak mashes in an efficient manner.
